Hi. I'm a self-taught designer... actually...I'm not a designer, but I suppose I have keen aesthetic sensibilities and passion for fine paper goods.
I think my true artistic talent is developing a fantastic team of professional creative entrepreneurs known to most as the Pink Ponies Etsy team.
My love for paper and desk accessories began before I was born; I'm one of many products created by my mother, a young successful and ambitious entrepreneur who launched a printing company that provided advertising materials and services to international luxury hotels in the 80's.
Walking around her production line touching perfectly edged reams of paper, cluelessly pressing metal certificate embossers and tilting my head at curious German letterpress machines before I could even talk must've made a lasting impression on me.
I collected stationery and paper bills as a child admiring the different textures, scents and finishes of stationery paper and cards that my friends and I exchanged with one another the way boys did with baseball cards.
Who knew that was unusual!?
My appreciation for fine paper (and printing production company backdrop) inspired me to explore ways to find pleasure in the functional everyday things that surround my desk and office.

It's all in the subtle details.
At times, noticing a tiny engraved motif on a notecard makes me smile and reminds me of the fond memories I've shared with the person to whom I'm writing.
The medium is part of the message.
One's choice in personal and professional stationery design subtly captures the essence of our message even before ink makes contact with the surface.

Yours,
Meg of PinkPoniesShop.Etsy
