For those of you who don't know, Pink Ponies has a shop on Etsy (an online marketplace for handmade goods).
The Pink Ponies Etsy team is led by a few GenY entrepreneurs with online shops on Etsy.com. Together, the Pink Ponies professional network and Etsy team leaders provide members with tools to help with business development and brand marketing. Our team promotes peer-coaching, collaborative projects and networking events in an effort to leverage the creativity of the entire group as a means to keep every member focused on running a profitable shop.
While we're good at organizing our team, our store is a bit ... empty. This Saturday we finally added another greeting card to our list of stuff on Etsy. If only time were infinite, and talent were easier to come by, we'd fill our online shelves with more stationery. Till then, here's our first
lino cut printmaking project:
| Step 1. Research Linocut Printmaking |
| Step 2. Draw the image or design on block |
| Step 3. Carve linoleum block |
| Step 4. Refine carved edges |
| Step 5. Create an impression using paint |
| Step 6. Add watercolor details |
| Step 7. Examine for cuteness |
| Complete!!! |
Please visit our team on Etsy to see all the cool stuff we make!!!
Thanks!
